During this event, you will learn essential techniques in video editing, color correcting, and audio mixing using Final Cut Pro. Sessions and panel discussions are presented by Apple Certified instructors. 

The Apple product team and representatives will be onsite to present Apple Pro Video updates! This unique opportunity allows attendees to engage directly with the team behind their favorite video editing software, Final Cut Pro.

Doors open at 8:00 am.

Presentations will begin at 8:30 am and will run until 6:15 pm. 

Followed by a social mixer and expo night from 6:30–8:00 pm.

Jenn Jager

When Jenn Jager started Plum Productions Video, she had a vision: a woman owned business where projects began with a collaborative spirit between creatives and clients. In the past decade, Plum Productions has grown into one of South Florida’s busiest production houses, with clients ranging from SAKS 5TH Avenue, Newell Brands (makers of Oster, Mr. Coffee, Sunbeam and others), and the University of Michigan. In 2018, Jenn started her own YouTube channel where she gives tips on video marketing strategies. Her audience has swelled to 100,000 subscribers from every corner of the world. In March of 2021, she launched a new channel, “Jenn Jager Pro Tutorials” which is solely focused on helping editors sharpen their Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion skills.

Abba Shapiro

Abba Shapiro is an Adobe and Apple Master Trainer, certifying university and training center instructors to teach Adobe Premiere Pro. Abba is an award-winning writer/producer/director. He has worked for a wide range of commercial, corporate and federal clients, including: USA Today, NASCAR, The Associated Press, NASA, Univision, Major League Baseball, Showtime, Viacom, The Discovery Channel, and CNN. Over the past 15 years Abba has created on-line training courses covering everything from Video Editing and Color Correction to how to shoot, light, and edit an interview. His courses air on CreativeLive, LinkedIn Learning, and RippleTraining. He is also the author of several video editing books. Abba also is a regular speaker at several international broadcasting conferences including NAB, IBC, InterBee, Photoshop World, and AdobeMAX. Some of the courses he teaches include, Video Editing, Scriptwriting, and all aspects of Video Production. When Abba is not bouncing around the globe teaching and consulting, he is probably following his passion, chasing light and shooting photos

Nick Harauz

Nick Harauz is a certified Apple trainer.

Nick has an uncanny ability to engage his students and create a level of relatedness that keeps them coming back for more. Since 2002, Nick has also worked with domestic and international brands, offering a wide variety of video production and motion graphic services. He has worked with clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Diageo, Virgin Mobile, Nando’s, Visa and Blackberry.

In 2013, Nick wrote his first book on Apple Motion 5, which is available on Amazon. He spoke at Adobe MAX in 2018 for Adobe and at the launch of CC 2014 in Toronto . Currently, Nick is writing a book in Photoshop for 2021. When he is not teaching, travelling, or creating video content, Nick can be found on his new e-bike.

Josh Meyers

Josh Meyers is an award winning post-producer and editor. Josh has been working in the Broadcast and Streaming Media industries for over 20 years where he’s produced and edited hundreds of network promos, music videos, trailers, and documentaries for marketing and entertainment companies. His work has been featured at Nickelodeon, WWE, Nicktoons, UFC, SpikeTV, Paramount Network, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Most recently his editing work can be seen on the Dad Saves America Youtube channel. Currently, Josh is the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Post Production at Emergent Order Foundation, the non-profit creative studio he co-founded in Austin, Texas. As the CTO, Josh keeps the Foundation on the cutting edge of media platform technologies and workflows so they can fulfill their mission of heroic storytelling.

Sarah Deuel

Sarah M. Deuel is an Austin-based film editor with a deep-rooted appreciation in storytelling. For the past ten years she has demonstrated true dedication to her craft, engaging both characters and ideas with genuine interest and devotion. As an editor and story producer at Rooster Teeth Productions, she has worked on a wide range of comedic and reality-based projects. Sarah has also worked as a Post- Production Supervisor for the Emmy nominated interactive show, In Space with Markiplier. Sarah is a graduate of the Radio-Television-Film program at the University of Texas at Austin.

Daniel Fabelo

Daniel is a Latino filmmaker originally from Austin, Texas. For a time, he was a writer/director for online powerhouse, Rooster Teeth. There, he would co-write and co-direct  the sci-fi comedy feature, Lazer Team 2 (YouTube Red), and co-create and direct the horror-comedy series, Haunter. His latest project, “El Gato Feo”, is a historical drama that follows two estranged sisters caught on opposite sides of the Mexican Revolution.
